Starts At: At 09.30h your expert driver-guide will collect you at your Dublin starting point for your exciting 5 day tour of the northwest of Ireland. Your driver-guide will be available to answer any questions you may have as you travel over the coming days so you can make the most of your time with us and experience the best that Ireland has to offer.
This tour includes a luxury touring vehicle, expert driver-guide, all road tolls, full vehicle insurance and complimentary bottled water each day of your tour. Admission charges to attractions are not included in the tour price.
Client accommodation is not included in this package, with years of experience, we know that every person is different and as a result, we allow our clients to choose their own accommodation to suit their needs. We are happy to recommend accommodation in each location varying from 4/5* accommodation to luxury guesthouses and Bed and Breakfasts all of which we can highly recommend.
Day 1:

Departing Dublin today, we will travel across Ireland aiming for the 5,000 year old Carrowmore megalithic graveyard near Sligo, After a guided tour of this stunning ancient site, we will make our way past Sligo to the historical Lissadell House and Gardens for lunch and a guided tour of the house. The old home to the Gore-Booth family, who have played a leading role in Irish history. Continue to the beautiful Yeats Grave at the foot of Benbulben before enjoying the cliffside drive through Mullaghmore. Onwards to Donegal for dinner and overnight.
Day 2:
Highlights include: Slieve League, Donegal Castle, Glenbeigh National Park and more…
Heading west into the beautiful countryside of Co Donegal, we will make our way to the highest cliffs in Ireland at Slieve League. After enjoying a short walk and breathtaking views over the wild Atlantic, we will continue to Donegal to visit the beautiful Jacobite Donegal Castle in the town centre as well as enjoy lunch in the bustling town centre. After lunch, we will drive out to Glenbeigh National Park to take in the wonderful valleys and lakes of this area, enjoy a tour of Glenbeigh House and gardens before we return to Donegal for your dinner and overnight.
Day 3:
Highlights include: Malin Head, Inishowen Peninsula, Derry to Bushmills town..
Leaving Donegal town today, we take the ‘long road north to the Deep South’ as we make our way up to Irelands most northerly point at Malin Head at the tip of the Inishowen Peninsula. The is a very scenic drive and takes in an ancient ring fort, the inspiring Amazing Grace country before we head to Derry city for lunch and to enjoy a walking tour of the best walled town in Ireland. Derry city has a unique and rich history and this walking tour really brings it to life. From Derry city, we will make our way over to the North Antrim Coast to the town of Bushmills for our dinner and overnight.

Day 4:
Highlights include: North Antrim Coast, Bushmills Distillery, Dunluce Castle, Carrick-a-rede Rope Bridge, Giants Causeway..
After a leisurely breakfast, you can look forward to an exciting day taking in the beautiful scenery of the Causeway Coast. Our first stop will be at Dunluce Castle which is set dramatically on the cliffside overlooking the British Open Royal Portrush golf course. From Dunluce, we will make our way into Bushmills for a guided tour of the oldest licensed distillery in the world, the famous Bushmills distillery. After lunch in Bushmills town, we will continue to Carrick-a-rede rope bridge which is an exhilarating coastal adventure onto a small island. Used by local fishermen for over 300 years, this tradition lives strong in the local culture and is well worth the time. From Carrirck-a-rede, we continue to the jewel in the north Antrim coasts crown, the Giants Causeway. This unique rock formation has been carved by nature and has many legends and myths to tell. Return to Bushmills for dinner and overnight.
Day 5:
Highlights include: Titanic Belfast, Battle of the Boyne, Dublin.
Leaving the north coast this morning, we make our way to Belfast and to visit the home of the most famous ship in the world. The Titanic experience is an amazing new visitor centre which is located on Queens Island where the infamous ship was built and launched in 1912. The tour takes you through the industrial revolution of 19th Century Belfast, the ship building industry itself, the building and fitting of the Titanic as well as the fateful voyage, aftermath of the disaster and discovery of the shipwreck. From the Titanic centre, we will enjoy lunch in Belfast before heading southwards leaving Northern Ireland and stopping off at the fantastic battle of the Boyne visitor centre to learn a little more about Irelands amazing history as well as this battles effect on modern day Ireland. Arriving into Dublin, your driver guide will bring you to your accommodation and this is where we say ‘till next time’ as your northwest tour with gantours.ie ends. Your driver guide will leave you at your accommodation while passing on their local knowledge of great things to see and do in Dublin.
Terms: The price above includes a luxury touring vehicle, expert driver-guide, all vehicle costs (fuel, road tolls, vehicle insurance) and complimentary water. It also includes your driver-guides living expenses while touring including lunches, dinners and overnight accommodation while outside of Dublin.

Tour Info:
This tour is based on an 8 hour touring day eg 09.30h to 17.30h following the tour route outlined. Should you require evening transportation from your accommodation to restaurant or for bar music, this can be discussed directly with your driver-guide and you can agree a specific rate or he can help you organise local evening transport as you wish.
Our Drivers: All our driver guides are vetted by the Irish police, have the correct licensing certification and follow the Irish rules and safety procedures to ensure the highest standards are maintained and exceeded and client safety while touring is always our primary concern.
