At 08.30h your expert driver-guide will collect you at the Aisling Hotel in Dublin to start your exciting 6 day tour of the west of Ireland. Your driver-guide will be available to answer any questions you may have as you travel over the coming days so you can make the most of your time with us and experience the best that Ireland has to offer.

Itinerary

Highlights - Bunratty Castle, Kilkee Cliffs . ( Day 1 )

08.30h Depart Aisling Hotel. Travel to Bunratty Castle & Folk Park. The Castle dates from 1125 & you will get to see an example of Thatched cottages from around Ireland. Continue to Kilkee Cliffs for some spectacular views. Continue along the coast to Co Clare for Dinner & Overnight in Lisdoonvarna.

Highlights - Cliffs of Moher, Burren Region, Boat Trip & Irish Music. ( Day 2 )

09.30h Today is a relaxing day around Co Clare. Our first stop is the Cliffs of Moher for some more amazing views. Take a boat trip on the Atlantic Ocean to see the Cliffs of Moher from the other side. Lunch in a Local Pub. Travel along the coast through the Burren which is famous for its limestone landscape & floura.  Irish night with Sheila. Dinner & Traditional irish Music in Lisdoonvarna.

Highlights - Coastal Scenery, Pearse Museum & Cottage.. ( Day 3 )

09.30h Depart Co Clare. Stop off at Hazel Mountain Chocolate factory & Cafe. Continue along the coast road by spiddal. Stop off at the Craft & design Studios. Visit Pearse Museum & Thatched Cottage. Padraig Pearse was one of the leaders in the 1916 Easter Rising. Continue through the beautiful scenery of Connemara to Clifden for Dinner and Overnight & Music.

Highlights - Famine Cottage, Roundstone village. (Day 4 )

Relaxing Day. 09.30h Depart Clifden for Dan O’ Hara’s Homestead Farm. This is a unique tour of life in rural Connemara. Travel over to Roundstone Village set overlooking the Atlantic Ocean for Lunch in one of the lovely Pubs. Stroll along the beach. Continue along the coast Road to Clifden for some time to explore the Marketing town. Dinner, Music & Overnight

 

Highlights - Kylemore Abbey & Victorian Gardens. Sheepdog Demonstration. ( Day 5 )

09.30h  Travel over to Kylemore Abbey and Gardens set in a 1,000 acre estate. The Abbey is Home to the Benedicine Order of Nuns for the past 100 years.  Lunch locally. Visit a working farm and see the sheepdogs at work. Return to Clifden for  Dinner, Music & Overnight.

 

Highlights - Galway City, Walking food/Tour, Sean’s Bar ( over 1,000 yrs old ). ( Day 6 )

09.30h Depart for Galway where you will have a private walking and food tour. Lunch in Galway before departing for Dublin. One Last Stop at Seans Bar in Athone for a final Farewell  Drink before Dublin. Tour ends at Aisling Hotel Dublin about 6pm. 

Option to stay on in Galway and explore the area in your own time. Possibly take a day trip to the Aran Islands.

This tour is based on an 8 hour touring day eg 09.30h to 17.30h following the tour route outlined. Should you require evening transportation from your accommodation to restaurant or for bar music, this can be discussed directly with your driver-guide and you can agree a specific rate or he can help you organise local evening transport as you wish.

Our Drivers: All our driver guides are vetted by the Irish police, have the correct licensing certification and follow the Irish rules and safety procedures to ensure the highest standards are maintained and exceeded and client safety while touring is always our primary concern.

  1. Admission charges to attractions are not included in the tour price.
  2. Client accommodation is not included in this package. We are happy to recommend accommodation in each location varying from 4/5* accommodation to luxury guesthouses and Bed and Breakfasts all of which we can highly recommend.
  3. Flights, personal expenses, tips for guides, travel insurance, client lunches and dinner meals.
  4. Admission Charges and client lunch, dinners or accommodation are not included in this package.

Terms: The price above includes a luxury touring vehicle, expert driver-guide, all vehicle costs (fuel, road tolls, vehicle insurance) and complimentary water. It also includes your driver-guides living expenses while touring including lunches, dinners and overnight accommodation while outside of Dublin.
