Tour Overview

After a leisurely breakfast your driver-guide will meet you at your hotel at 08hrs and bring you on a full day tour (up to 11 hours) to the Wild Atlantic Way traveling the width of Ireland to visit the what Oscar Wilde described as the ‘savage beauty’ that is Connemara.

Itinerary

Tour Route

Our route takes us directly across Ireland past Galway city and west into the heart of Connemara. This drive takes 4 hours with a small refreshment stop on route. This route will take in the main market town of Clifden as well as the some of the stunning villages and inlets in the Connemara region before returning to Dublin.

At Kylemore Abbey and Connemara

Enjoy time to immerse yourselves in the stunning Kylemore Abbey Estate, Castle and Victorian Gardens before strolling along the lakeside to the beautiful Abbey itself. After your visit to Kylemore, we will continue southwards touching the coast to the famous market town of stopping nearby for lunch.

The Burren: After lunch, your tour will take you through parts of the Connmeara region which is has some of the best beaches in Europe, the most picturesque village in Ireland Roundstone where you could relax with the locals and enjoy some refreshments overlooking the harbour, island and mountains in the distance. This region is famous for its arts and crafts and maritime history and boasts many artisan food producers and interesting sights along the way. Return via Galway before crossing back over the Irish midlands to Dublin for the end of your tour.

Lunch

Enjoy lunch in a traditional Irish pub in the Connemara.
